Over the years, we’ve seen all kinds of Fringe guides: local picks, theatre round-ups, feminist best-ofs, comedy lists, critics’ choices, and more. But as rightfully spicy geeks, we realised there wasn’t quite one for us.
Cue Sex Positive Fringe, our new series exploring sex, relationships, pleasure, shame, bodies and more on stage.
Our tiny but mighty team will be taking on the very difficult job — someone has to do it after all — of seeing shows, speaking to artists and performers, and highlighting the work opening up the most interesting conversations at this year’s festival.
Now, we’re looking for volunteer writers.
We’re putting together a small team of volunteer contributors to help shape the series this August. We’re looking for people interested in sex-positive culture writing, interviews, features and thoughtful reflections from the Fringe.
You can commit to one piece or more, depending on your capacity.
This is an unpaid opportunity, and we want to be upfront about that. We can offer editing, a published byline, and tickets wherever we’re able to arrange them.
