Sex Ed for Grown Ups
Catch-up classes for adults with disabilities
Were you excluded from sex and relationships education at school?
Do you struggle to find accessible information about sex, relationships, and consent online?
Pillow Talk Scotland and Three Sisters Consultancy have been awarded funding from the Agnes Hunter Trust to deliver Sex Ed for Grown Ups, an online, disabled-led programme of sex and relationships education for disabled adults across Scotland.
We are recruiting disabled adults (18+) to join our workshops. 15 funded spaces are available.
The full programme be back in 2027. We’ll meet weekly on Tuesday evenings (5-6.30pm) from 19 January until 9 March 2027. As part of the new cohort, we’ll also have weekly group check-ins on Wednesday evenings (time TBC) where you’ll be able share your questions, request specific topics, or clarifications about the Tuesday classes.
Topics we’ll cover include:
-
Understanding your body
-
Consent
-
Healthy and unhealthy relationships
-
Disability and sex
You can attend all sessions, or just the ones that feel most useful to you. Carers and support workers are welcome too.
Who is it for?
We welcome:
-
Disabled adults aged 18+ (no upper age limit, though we’d like most of the group to be over 25)
-
People of all genders, sexualities, races, and backgrounds
-
All experiences of disability – no proof required
We will never pressure anyone to share personal experiences. You can join or leave sessions at any time, and we will always give content warnings in advance.
