Sex Positive Reading Group

A night of chatting and myth busting for anyone interested in sex education, sexual health, how we relate to the people around us

A colorful illustration featuring a bright red and yellow background with a blue book in the center displaying the Pillow Talk logo of lips. The design is surrounded by playful icons such as a uterus, heart, clitoris, and other symbols representing inclusivity and sex positivity.

Open to all, this group provides a welcoming environment to explore literature that challenges, informs, and entertains. From non-fiction to novels, the materials are selected collectively by attendees via our dedicated WhatsApp group — ensuring the experience is as inclusive and relevant as possible.

We focus one chapter per month (materials provided by Pillow Talk) and meet at the Glasgow Zine Library (pictured below) on the last Tuesday of every month, from 7pm to 8.30pm. There is no expectation for you to have read the full excerpt or at all really, you’re always welcome to join ud for a chat!

You can find out about the venue’s accessibility by consulting the Glasgow Zine Library’s Access Guide. If you have any questions, send us an email at events@pillowtalk.scot

“Honestly the reading group is one of my highlights of the month. Such an inclusive group of people. And so much interesting conversation surrounding topics that aren't often highlighted.”
